Yes, I'm a slacker

I've made a few crafts, but those few have mostly been repeats of others already crafted and shown elsewhere on this blog.  I'm looking forward to fall when I hope to have more desire to craft.  The heat of the summer has drained me (we've gone without AC and survived!)

With the upcoming first birthday of a friend's grandson, I ended my current crafting downtime and made this little tie.  It has Velcro in the back making it safe, and adjustable.  It's not perfect, but I think they will love it. And I hope to finish a couple other little things out of the same material before I give it to them.

Nothing like crocheting a blanket in a heat wave.

With the heat, I haven't been crafting very much, but then this little bundle of joy I was slowly working on a blanket for came along (a little) faster than expected, so here is his completed blankie.

Chain I beaded for my Origami Owl charms and locket that came in!

Wish bracelets/anklets I previously made.  With wish bracelets/anklets, you're supposed to make a wish when you tie them on.  Keep them on until the twine/string naturally breaks and all the beads fall off.  You can't pick at the beads or try to get them off sooner than they are ready.  At that point, your wish is released for fulfillment.

I made these some time ago, I don't remember exactly how big each is, but if you're interested in one or would like a clearer picture, feel free to comment.

Baby Quilts

These were by request and are ready to go to their new home.  I'll be dropping them off today.

Not sure why this one looks so wrinkled in the pictures.  Hmpf.
